Darya Zhuykova

Implements generative AI in industry

Lecturer in applied AI

She came to AI from psychology. Her interest lies in what happens to a person when they begin thinking alongside a machine.

Industry — her main role: introducing generative AI into the daily operations of an industrial company
Teaching — 10 active programmes, including Prompt Engineering, Vibe Coding, and Tools and Use Cases
25,000 employees have taken her introductory generative AI course
How she teaches

She teaches what she does

Darya applies AI to real processes every day, building bots, automations and prototypes herself. In her lessons, children lead their own projects with an adult nearby to help when needed.

“You cannot learn AI by watching from the sidelines, just as you cannot learn snowboarding from a description.”

Darya Zhuykova
What she asks of a student

“AI does not make children less capable. The habit of never checking does.”

1

Check the facts

Anything a model produces is a hypothesis until the student checks the source.

2

Explain what you need

Expressing a thought precisely is a skill that matters far beyond AI.

3

Finish what you started

A project is finished when it works and you can show it to someone.

Darya also speaks at technology conferences, runs university workshops in Shenzhen, and leads webinars in English for students in Southeast Asia.
